Danish Women’s Club in Shanghai

We are The Danish Women’s Club in Shanghai. We are a voluntary group. No membership is necessary. Our events are for all women who understand Danish, no matter their passport.

We communicate and announce our events through our WeChat group. If you are interested in joining the group, please mail one of the people listed on this site.

Every month we have two events:

– Welcome lunch where we take our time to welcome newcomers in Shanghai.  Everyone, old and new, is welcome, but the time is dedicated to taking care of all the questions you can have as a newcomer in China or in Shanghai. The invitation to this event is sent out in our WeChat group, announcing the time and place.

– Culture evening, always held on the last Thursday of the month. On these evenings we have dinner together and a glass of wine. After dinner one of us does a talk on a self-chosen topic followed by a discussion.

Apart from the two regular events, we hold a few extra events such as Christmas dinners, summer parties, or cultural events.

We always have fun in a relaxed atmosphere, where everybody is welcome.

Danske kvinder i Shanghai.
